The Playground is owned by two local families who became great friends when they first met about a decade ago. The crew eventually realized they all had a common goal — a bar!

But it couldn’t be just any bar, it had to be something different. A place where you could feel comfortable in and have a blast at the same time. They started making plans. Eventually, they invited another friend, Charlie the bookkeeper out for a beer.

After a few more beers and many more conversations the group started working. And working. And working…until The Playground Golf & Sports Bar was born in 2020.

You can see the evidence of their hard work, from the handmade tables they built on weekends, to the choices of brews, to the great team they assembled. You can also see it in the good times that friends have when they come out to play at The Playground.
